In 2004, I finished my masters degree project from Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, in collaboration with Kosta Boda. My theme was “variation” and to make the products coming alive by using simple methods condusive to industrial production. The thoughts I brought with me into the project centred around chance (that which cannot be directed and predicted) vs control. I thought about the value of that which is unique and about the possibilities of working with unique pieces and individuality in an industrial production.
